Kubbra Sait and Vikas Gupta's Twitter war

TikTok ban has created a stir across the nation. After Madras High Court refused to stay ban on the popular video-based platform citing that the application ''encourages pornography''. Now, the app has been by Google and Apple and is no longer available for the download. The ban has been received with mixed reactions and Kubbra Sait is one among those who are elated after TikTok ban.

Sacred Games's Kuku took to Twitter to express her happiness on the ban. I can't begin to express my joy to hearing about Tik Tok being banned in India. The state of derangement was exceedingly painful. I haven't been happier about a ban,'' she wrote.

However, Bigg Boss 11 fame Vikas Gupta, who is an avid TikTok user got upset with her tweet. Slamming Kubbra in a series of tweet, he sad that content can be made on any platform and it can be both good and bad. Vikas even said that TikTok video creators are as talented as her if not more.

"State of derangement is extremely painful for the people who have to live in the environment of the mentally ill. With all due respect, some of the people making these Tiktoks or musically are as talented an artist as you are if not more. Coming from an artist of your calibre, it's very disappointing. Content made on any platform can be good and bad. Be it Television, Films, Web series or theatre for that matter or Tiktok. Some of the amazing work done by Individuals on Tiktok can be at par with the so called good work on either of the platforms,'' he wrote.

He even went on to mention Jannat Zubbair, Avneet Kaur, Ahsaas Channa who create content for the platforms and said that even her Gully Boy co-stars Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt used TikTok for film's promotions.

This Twitter war didn't stop here. Later, Kubbra again took a slay dig at Vikas saying, ''Oh! He took offence is it? That’s cool. I just googled the gent. No fire there, just a few Tik Tok videos''. Now, we have to wait and see whether Vikas replies to Kubbra's comment or decides to ignore it.
