This is no news that Mr. Perfectionist Aamir Khan loves challenges and comes up with the best movies of all times. The actor is shooting for his big Bollywood project Thugs Of Hindostan alongside Amitabh Bachchan and he has already started planning his next film. Reports suggest that Aamir Khan is blown away by Tom Hanks and there is a particular 90s Hollywood movie of his that he wants to remake.
As per the reports in DNA, it is revealed, "Aamir wants to make Forrest Gump in Hindi, which he will star in. He wants to play the lead role that Tom Hanks had essayed in the original. It has been on his wishlist for some time."
Can you guess who will play the lead if this movie is made? Aamir Khan, obviously. Who other than Mr. Perfectionist himself can add stars to the role and bring a dynamic performance onscreen? It is also being said that the 53-year-old actor and his team have been in advanced talks with Paramount Pictures to procure a deal.

The source further revealed to the publication that Aamir Khan has even acquired the rights to the 1994 Hollywood film and the scripting for the same is currently underway as he wants his team to rework the whole narrative and set it in the Indian context.
Talking about the film, the original movie narrated the story of Forrest Gump (Tom Hanks), a slow-witted but kind-hearted man from Alabama, who witnesses several defining historical events in the 20th century in the United States.
On the other hand, Aamir’s Thugs of Hindostan also stars Katrina Kaif and Fatima Sana Shaikh in vital roles. Helmed by Vijay Krishna Acharya, the movie is based on the novel Confessions of a Thug by Philip Meadows Taylor.
