Sridevi and Janhvi Kapoor
It has been over two months that veteran actress Sridevi passed away but we often come across her pictures and videos on social media that leave us emotional. Today, an old video of Sridevi is going viral on internet and for all the right reasons. The video which has Sridevi and Janhvi is a proof of the friendly bond that the mother-daughter duo shared.
In the throwback video, Janhvi, when questioned at a press conference, can be seen struggling to speak Hindi. Though we didn't get to hear the question, we can guess it is about Janhvi's Bollywood debut. When asked to answer in Hindi, Janhvi in an accented tone says, ''Mujhe pata nahi hai, main abhi school mein padhai kar rahi hoon.''
Suddenly, Sridevi interrupts and says that no one should ask Janhvi to speak Hindi. She also said that she keeps on bullying Janhvi at home because of her poor Hindi. The late actress even goes on to imitate her daughter. Seeing this, everyone burst out laughing. Watch the video below:
Meanwhile, Janhvi is gearing up for her Bollywood debut Dhadak, which is slated to release on July 20. The movie directed by Shashank Khaitan and produced by Karan Johar also stars Ishaan Khatter. Dhadak is an official Hindi remake of Marathi blockbuster Sairat.
Sairat, directed by Nagaraj Manjule featured Akash Thosar and Rinku Rajguru. The movie was critically acclaimed for its subject of honour killing.
