Pakistani stars Mahira Khan and Fawad Khan are one of the most amazing and talked about onscreen couples. The two have been loved by everyone ever since Pakistani drama Humsafar was aired on television. Humsafar, which was first aired in Pakistan, was later picked up by Zee’s Zindagi channel in India before the latter decided to stop airing Pakistani shows. The show was a big hit in both India and Pakistan. Mahira and Fawad are now gearing up for a Pakistani film, Maula Jatt 2.

On Monday, Mahira Khan shared a picture on her Twitter handle that shows both cheering for their cricket teams playing in the Pakistan Super League. Her tweet reads, “Hogaya chase #PSL2018 #fatsosofMJ”. In the photograph, the two are joined by Hamza Ali Abbasi. All three will be seen in Maula Jatt 2.

Both Fawad and Mahira entered Bollywood around the same time and became the face of Pakistani artiste ban issue as they had their movies, Ae Dil Hai Mushkil and Raees releasing around the time. While Fawad's portions in the movie were ruthlessly chopped, Mahira went missinf from her film's promotions. While their fans miss seeing them do more Hindi movies, here's a picture that might just make them extremely nostalgic. Mahira and Fawad's fans can also rejoice the fact that this duo will soon reunite on screen too.

Mahira Khan recently said that the Hindi film industry was never her aim. "Raees" released in January 2017, just a few months after bilateral tensions intensified between India and Pakistan over the September 18, 2016 Uri attack that left 19 Indian soldiers dead and the September 28 surgical strikes by India on Pakistan terror camps. "At that time I was angry. I was sad and angry and there were moments of disappointment and just hurt, you know. Now I've come to a place where I believe that anger doesn't really make me a better actor. It doesn't do anything for me as a person, so I've let go of that, because at that time I was in the mix of it," said Mahira.
