Tanushree Dutta isn’t convinced with Twinkle Khanna’s support as Akshay Kumar continues to work with Nana Patekar
Twinkle Khanna is dropping bombs in the form of sexual harassment allegation for some a while now. The Aashiq Banaya Aapne actress has alleged that Nana Patekar sexually harassed her while filming for a song in Horn OK Please! She accused him of inappropriately touching her while the director and choreographer did nothing about it. The news spread on the social media like a wildfire. Many Bollywood celebrities even expressed their support towards the actress including Twinkle Khanna, Priyanka Chopra, Swara Bhasker and Farhan Akhtar.
While questioning Twinkle Khanna’s support towards her, Tanushree Dutta said that she isn’t convinced with her statemen ton Twitter as her superstar husband Akshay Kumar continues to work with the alleged perpetrator (Nana Patekar). Dutta was referring to Housefull 4, which is being filmed in Jaisalmer. Kumar is sharing screen space with Patekar in the Sajid Nadiadwala film.
Talking to Zoom TV, Tanushree said, “Thank you, ma'am, for supporting me but your husband is about to or is even shooting the film with Nana Patekar. What about that?”
“That is the question I am asking and how much of that support is genuine because if it doesn't result in any kind of disciplinary action. They have not apologised to me and they are already spinning lies so when you go ahead and work with them they have the sense of victory,” she added questioning the genuity of her support.
Tanushree Dutta also expressed distrust in Priyanka Chopra’s support towards her. When the global icon talked about Dutta referring to her as a ‘survivor’, the latter reacted by saying, ‘Well, it's amazing. She ( Priyanka) has finally decided to join the bandwagon. It's probably a smart thing to do at this point of time. But I just want people to know that I am not going to be reduced to a survivor. I have a name, I have a story and I have this truth that I am trying to get out because it's not for me but for people who will come forward in the generations to come.’
In a lengthy interview, Tanushree Dutta spoke her heart out on the alleged sexual assault on the sets of Horn OK Please. She even alleged that director Vivek Agnihotri asked her to strip in front of two male actors.
