Tanushree Dutta has filed a legal complaint against Nana Patekar, whom she had accused of sexually harassing during Horn OK Please shooting in 2008. Earlier, the veteran actor has quashed her claims dubbing her allegations as a lie. Hours later, written complaint was filed by Dutta with Mumbai police in connection with the incident that dates to 2008. The police have already begun the probe into the matter.
Nana Patekar has recently wrapped up the Jaisalmer schedule of his upcoming film Housefull 4. While returning to Mumbai, media questioned him about the allegations laid upon him by Tanushree Dutta. He refused to take any questions at Jaisalmer airport. However, on reaching Mumbai, he said, “Whatever I had to say, I said 10 years back. What is a lie, is a lie. I’ll hold a press conference soon.”
Tanushree Dutta opened up on her alleged sexual harassment episode of ten years ago while talking to Zoom TV. She even alleged that the director of the film did nothing to comfort her, in fact, goons were called to vandalise her vanity when she refused to shoot further.
Dutta even claimed that many of the Industry biggies knew about Nana Patekar’s temperament but did nothing about it.
“Everyone knows about Nana Patekar that he has always been disrespectful towards women. People in the industry know that he has beaten actresses, he has molested them. His behaviour with women has always been crude but no publication has printed anything about it,” she said.
Tanushree Dutta was replaced by Rakhi Sawant for the song which she was roped in for.
