The Zaira Wasim molestation case has become the talk of the town. While Bollywood celebrities such as Kangana Ranaut has come out in full support of the Dangal fame actress, women’s rights activist Madhu Purnima Kishwar finds something “fishy” in the case. Zaira, who was last seen in the Aamir Khan starrer Secret Superstar, was allegedly molested on a Delhi-Mumbai flight. She later talked about her experience on Instagram via a live video. The actress said she was on a flight from Delhi to Mumbai when a co-passenger sitting behind her put up his feet on her armrest.

Taking to her Twitter handle., Madhu Purnima Kishwar wrote,  “This case is very fishy. How can a man sitting behind a woman in a plane caress a woman's back with his leg?Even professional acrobats can't accomplish such feat-that 2 without anyone noticing. Why didn't she call airhostess or get up & ask him to behave? Tamasha only after landing”.

Meanwhile, Queen actress Kangana Ranaut has supported Zaira to the fullest. Shesaid it is brave of her to share her story despite being advised against.

"The actor, who has spoken about this harassment that she faced in a flight, look at the backlash she is getting. It is so upsetting," Kangana said. "A young girl, a 16-year-old, when she decides to step up and say that she has been harassed, there are so many things like your own parents, people who wish you well and your management companies, they tend to tell you, 'Don't associate yourself with something dark. Now, I am not in that position so, I don't know what kind of harassment it was. But everyone agrees on one thing that the foot was on her arm-rest. This is wrong. It is very wrong. Why are we judging her, trolling her? In this kind of environment, which is so frightening, who will speak up?" Kangana added.
