Sushant Singh Rajput in talks for 12 films after Kedarnath success

After Kedarnath success. Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput is flooded with film offers.  The actor who has already bagged films like Sonchiriya, Kizie Aur Manny and Chhichhore is in talks with the filmmakers of 12 different films and the fans of SSR can’t be any happier if he signs even the half of them. So, in an exclusive interview to Mumbai Mirror, the MS Dhoni actor said this about him signing more films.

“I’m in talks for 12 films, I don’t know which of them will begin first, but the two films you mentioned (Chanda Mama Door Ke and a biopic on Paralympian Murlikant Petkar) are still in the pipeline. It’s for me to decide what to do next and that would depend on how my next film fares. There is no film that I want to do that I can’t do.”

The actor has films like Drive and Chichhore releasing this year. While Drive is a high-octane thriller made by Tarun Mansukhani, Chicchore is a campus drama with comic elements. Plus, there is also Mukesh Chhabra's Kizie Aur Manny, which is an adaptation of the Fault in Our Stars. The actor also told the publication that he was happy acting in films without being termed as an actor or a star.

"The choice is usually between being an actor or a star, but I have figured out a third option, which is just do good films without being described as an actor, a star or an engineering dropout. These are but small nouns that stop me from looking at the big picture," said the actor.

Sushant also spoke about Manikarnika that has his former girlfriend, Ankita Lokhande playing Jhalkaribai, the close aide of Rani Laxmibai. He said, "It looks great and if I am not wrong it is tracking really well. I have known Ankita for a long time and she is a brilliant, effortless actor. I hope the film does justice to her capabilities and does well for everyone involved."

In Kedarnath, he played the part of a Muslim porter Mansoor who falls in love with a Hindu girl, Mukku (Sara Ali Khan).
