Ahan Shetty to mark his big Bollywood debut in 2019
After Janhvi Kapoor and Athiya Shetty, another star kid is all set to make his presence felt in Bollywood. We are talking about Bollywood’s fittest actor Suniel Shetty’s son Ahan Shetty, whose debut rumors were surfacing the internet for a long time. Now it is reported that celebrated filmmaker Sajid Nadiadwala has taken the charge of launching Ahan in Bollywood with the remake of Telugu hit film RX 100. Excited?
According to the reports in DNA, it is said that Sajid Nadiadwala has confirmed the news and revealed that the movie will release next year. Nadiadwala said, "I have acquired the remake rights of RX 100 and it will be Ahan's launch vehicle. The movie will release in May 2019. We chose the drama because it has gained a cult status among the youth. I know of youngsters who have watched the movie 10 times."
Interesting, Sajid Nadiadwala has been the godfather of actor Suniel Shetty as well as he launched him with his production 'Waqt Hamara Hai'. Now after many years, it is son Ahan Shetty’s turn to flourish under his wings. Opening up about the coincidence, Nadiadwala said, "It's an interesting coincidence that I got to launch Suniel and now, his son too."
The filmmaker has been the launch pad of other newcomers in Bollywood as well- Tiger Shroff, Kriti Sanon and others. Sajid further divulged details of the film saying, "We are in talks with some directors, but have not decided on one yet." Well, now that the leading actor is final, it would be interesting to know who would star opposite Ahan in the first film. Will it be a newcomer as well? Or an already established heroine?
On the work front, the producer is currently gearing up for 'Housefull 4' with Akshay Kumar and Kriti Sanon, and Nitesh Tiwari's next directorial and 'Baaghi 3'.
