Anushka Sharma and Varun Dhawan shed their glamorous avatar for upcoming film Sui Dhaaga. They’ve been captured every now and then in Chanderi, looking as ordinary as a village person would. Recently, the official page of Yash Raj Films posted a picture featuring the lead actors of the film. In the picture, Varun Dhawan can be seen paddling a bicycle while Anushka Sharma is seated on the carrier of the cycle.
Varun as Mauji can be seen gasping for air in the picture as he has cycle in the sweltering heat of Chanderi with Anushka Sharma seated behind. Sharing the image, YRF wrote, “Mauji takes Mamta for a cycle ride! @anushkasharma rode pillion as @varundvn cycled for close to 10 hours in the sweltering heat at Chanderi.”
Anushka Sharma and Varun Dhawan are dressed soberly in the picture. Varun Dhawan has donned a bushy moustache for the picture while Anushka can be seen in multi-coloured saris with pallu covering her head.
Sui Dhaaga has been helmed by Dum Laga Ke Haisha writer Sharat Katariya. It has been bankrolled by Maneesh Sharma under the Yash Raj Films banner. It is slated to release on September 28.

Both the actors are busy working for Sui Dhaaga in Madhya Pradesh. Anushka Sharma came back to Mumbai for one day to promote her recently released film Pari. Her romantic pictures with husband Virat Kohli went viral on internet.
Meanwhile, Varun Dhawan has wrapped up shooting for Shoojit Sircar’s October.
