Anushka Sharma, who is currently gearing up for her upcoming films Zero and Pari, has been recently spotted in a navy blue sari and loosely tied bun. The actress is seen coming out of a film studio in Mumbai. Raghuvendra Singh, senior assistant editor with Filmfare tweeted the picture with a caption, “That's Anushka Sharma... any guesses her look is for which film/commercial?”
On Monday, Anushka Sharma dropped a hint bomb on her character in Sui Dhaaga. She posted a picture on her Instagram which shows her engaged deep in sewing embroidery on a piece of cloth. She has donned a minimalistic look for her upcoming film.
In her Instagram picture, she wrote, “कतरन से बुनी कहानी
पैबंद लगा के है सुनानी
- सुई धागा”
Her co-star Varun Dhawan also commented on the picture. He wrote, “Method’ for an unknown reason. Maybe the actor is commenting on the fact that Anushka Sharma is practising stitching to nail her role in the film.
Earlier, Varun Dhawan shared his look from the film. In the picture, the actor is looking tired with his eyes fixed on the sewing machine. He dons a simplistic look, indicating that this role is going to be different from his usual chocolate boy image in Bollywood.
Sui Dhaaga is written and directed by Sharat Katariya of Dum Laga Ke Haisha (2015) fame. It is being produced by Maneesh Sharma of Yash Raj Films banner. It has Anushka and Varun in lead roles.
Talking about her film, Anushka Sharma told Hindustan Times, “It’s a story of self-reliance that I believe will connect with every Indian. And I am really looking forward to work with Varun and the team of Maneesh and Sharat.”
Sui Dhaaga is slated to release on October 2, 2018.
