Sridevi
Legendary actress Sridevi’s sudden demise on February 24 left the entire nation shocked. The Mom actress reportedly died due to accidental drowning in her hotel bathtub in Dubai, where she had gone to attend her nephew Mohit Marwah’s wedding. She will be last seen in a cameo role in the Shah Rukh Khan starrer Zero, which will release on December 21.
Mohammed Aziz
Popular veteran playback singer Mohammed Aziz died on November 27 after suffering from heart attack. The superhit singer, known for his best works in Bollywood, Bengali and Odia film industries, had just returned from Kolkata after performing in a show.
Tulsi Ramsay
Horror King Tulsi Ramsay died on 14 December in Mumbai after complaining of chest pains. Ramsay had last directed 1993’s Zee Horror Show, which became one of the flagship products of the channel.
Kavi Kumar Azad
TV Actor Kavi Kumar Azaad, known for playing the character of Dr Hansraj Hathi on popular sitcom Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma, passed away on July 9 after suffering a cardiac arrest.
Nandamuri Harikrishna
Nandamuri Harikrishna, NTR’s son and Telugu actor, passed away in a horrific car accident on August 29. Harikrishna was the fourth son of NT Rama Rao and the brother-in-law of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu. His son Tarak, known as NT Rama Rao Junior, is a popular actor in Telugu cinema.
