Moreover, latest buzz has it that Jhanvi and Sara will face a box-office battle with one another in Christmas 2018. While Sridevi and Boney Kapoor’s daughter Jhanvi will star in Karan Johar’s Dhadak, Saif Ali Khan’s and Amrita Singh’s angel will reportedly feature in a Rohit Shetty film. Both the films are apparently releasing in Christmas 2018.
In such a scenario, Jhanvi Kapoor’s doting mother Sridevi has come to the forefront to speak on comparisons between her daughter and Sara Ali Khan. The veteran actress, who was last seen in the film Mom said, "Competition can never be eliminated from this industry. There is nothing wrong with it. It keeps you on your toes, making you work harder. But, the biggest challenge lay in bettering your craft, and faring better than you did the last time. "You don't have to turn your face away from each other just because you are pitted against one another at work," Sridevi was quoted as saying to Mid-day.
When quizzed about any advice she wanted to give Jhanvi on her Bollywood career, Sridevi said, "Children have their own mind. When it comes to her work, I don't want to advise. She must cultivate her craft all by herself, make her own choices and chart her own path."
