Do you know why Sonam Kapoor postponed her wedding from March to May?
Sonam Kapoor recently got hitched to her long-time beau Anand Ahuja in a lavish wedding in Mumbai earlier this month. Even before the official announcement from Kapoor and Ahuja families, the reports of their wedding were doing rounds on the internet since the beginning of 2018. However, in a recent interview, her Veere Di Wedding co-star Swara Bhaskar spilled beans that Sonam’s wedding was earlier scheduled in March.
Sonam Kapoor’s wedding was attended by who’s who of Bollywood, including her close friends and Veere Di Wedding co-stars. During a media interaction, Sonam and Swara revealed that the astrologer has picked March 12th as the wedding date. Co-incidentally, Swara’s brother was also getting married on the same date. Sonam even tried to convince Swara to postpone her brother’s wedding. In fact, she even talked to her parents to get the dates changed.
Similarly, Swara was trying to convince Anil Kapoor and Sunita Kapoor to postpone the wedding date. She even came up with a plan to bribe the Pundit to shift the wedding date without telling her parents. When everything failed, the two bestfriends tried to get the wedding happen at the same place but that didn’t work out for them.
Eventually, things fell into place on their own and Sonam Kapoor’s wedding was delayed to May. Swara happily attended her brother’s wedding and later became a part of her bestie’s wedding in Mumbai.
Swara Bhaskar and Sonam Kapoor will be featuring together in a film for the second time in Veere Di Wedding. Earlier, they shared the screen space in Raanjhana.
