Here’s what Sonam Kapoor is going to gift her would-be-husband Anand Ahuja on their wedding!
Sonam Kapoor’s wedding has become the talk of the town since last few weeks. Ever since an official announcement on the wedding has been made, fans are eager to get the latest updates about the same. On Wednesday, Sonam Kapoor’s sister Rhea Kapoor gave a glimpse of the wedding preparations taking place at the Kapoor’s mansion. Arjun Kapoor, Anshula Kapoor and bride-to-be Sonam were seen amidst a hilarious conversation which was all bonkers for us.
Sonam Kapoor will be taking the wedding vows with Anand Ahuja on May 8. The preparations have started in full swing at her residence. Not only this, Sonam has already finalised the gift she was going to give her would-be-husband Anand Ahuja after marriage.
It’s a collection of poem which she wrote when she was just 16 years old.
Few years ago, when Sonam Kapoor featured on Simi Garewal’s show, she revealed about a poem which she wrote for the person she’s going to spend her life with.
She said, “I have written quite a few poems but there was this one poem that I wrote when I was around 16 years old. It is called Ambition. I had promised myself that as soon as I find the person that I'm going to be with, I'm going to give him that poem. The day I get married, the poem will be with that man and I'll say that this is what I want my life to be like and hopefully, we can work together towards this.”
Sonam Kapoor’s wedding ceremonies will start with Mehendi function which will take place on May 7 at Sunteck Signature Island, BKC. The wedding will take place at Rockdale, Bandra which is Sonam Kapoor’s aunt’s bungalow. The wedding vows will be exchanged between 11 am to 12:30 pm.
