After the grand pre-wedding celebration at Anil Kapoor's bungalow on May 6, Sonam Kapoor's sangeet ceremony is currently underway at the actress's 35 crore luxurious duplex at Sunteck Signature Island, Bandra Kurla Complex.
As the theme of the ceremony is shades of white, guests arrived in their stylish best. The bride-to-be Sonam looked splendid in a white and golden lehenga as designer Anaita Shroff Adajania shared her look. The pre-wedding festivities kick-started from 4 pm and is being attended by many Bollywood celebrities. From Katrina Kaif, Swara Bhaskar to Varun Dhawan, Karisma Kapoor and Jacqueline Fernandez, all the stars gathered under a roof to wish happiness for the lovely bride. Farah Khan, who has choreographed the entire sangeet ceremony also arrived despite her fractured leg.
Sonam' brother Harshvardhan shared a beautiful picture from the ceremony. Posting a photo featuring her two sisters and himself, he wrote: ''Bhavesh Joshi & the Veeres... (Sorry...couldn’t resist)! All smiles cause it’s #SonamKiShaadi @sonamkapoor @rheakapoor.'' Filmmaker Karan Johar also shared a photo on his social media account with the bride-to-be Sonam. Check out pictures below:

Sonam, who wore traditional chudha i.e., red bangles and kaleere was seen trying to drop it on Janhvi Kapoor and Jacqueline's head. It is believed that the person on whose head the bride's kaleere falls gets married next.
On May 1, The Kapoors and The Ahujas made a joint announcement about the wedding. The official statement says: ''The Kapoor and Ahuja families, take great joy and pride, in announcing the marriage of Sonam and Anand. The wedding will take place on the 8th of May in Mumbai. Since it is an intimate affair, we request you to respect the family's need for privacy. Thank you for all your blessings and love, as we celebrate this special moment in our lives.''
E-invites of Sonam's wedding have already gone viral on social media. The card is as beautiful as the couple. As mentioned on the card, Sonam's wedding will take place between 11 am to 12:30 pm at Rockdale, 226, Bandstand, Bandra, which is Sonam's aunt bungalow. The ceremony will be followed by lunch. On the same day at 8 pm, a lavish party will be thrown at The Leela, Mumbai.
