They are just as natural as any other Indian married couple could be. A year ago, on the same day, Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja tied the knot in a traditional Anand Karaj ceremony. The wedding is touted to be the most fun Bollywood wedding to this day. No private affair, just a bunch of Bollywood celebrities enjoying a close friend's wedding under one roof. Another fact for which Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja are one of the most beloved couples in Tinsel Town is their lack of vanity. When Sonam is with her husband, she does things which you don't expect her doing otherwise. She sits on airport floors, she runs like a madwoman on streets or indulge in some other crazy stuff. The realness about this couple brings them even closer to their fans. On their first anniversary, Anand Ahuja ditched the traditional method to wish his wife on social media. Instead, he shared a bunch of shoefies (selfies of shoes) and wrote an emotional note for his best friend Sonam Kapoor.

Today, to reflect on 1 year of marriage and 3 years being together - nothing could be more of a blessing than to have your life partner be your best friend and also be the person that is supportive but pushes you to be better... to be the person that is unconditionally loving but will tell you when you're wrong ... and to be the person that will lead you into and through your fears - not allowing you to run away from them. In one of their pictures, Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja are also flaunting their wedding rings which are not anything we see among celebrities. Instead of a costing-a-fortune solitaire, Sonam and Anand are wearing love bands. The pictures have been liked by more than 5k users in a couple of hours of posting.
On the other hand, Sonam Kapoor shared a throwback picture from her childhood, wearing dungarees. She wrote, "I still like dungarees. Not grown up much ha? #neverwannagrowup #stillakid thanks Priya didis for this gem!"
Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja tied the knot on May 8 last year in Mumbai. Their wedding was a lavish affair, attended by who's who of Bollywood including Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Saif Ali Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and others.
