Palak Muchchal, best known for songs such as Prem Ratan Dhan Payo and Jumme KI Raat Hai, is trending today for a video that has now gone viral. In the video, the singer and her brother Palash Muchhal are seen yelling at the organizers during their live show at Taj Mahotsav in Agra. Palak can be seen asking them to apologize for allegedly misbehaving with their mother.
She can be heard speaking in the mic, asking the organisers to apologies. "Apologise straight away. We can't take that. How dare you do that?"
Her statements are followed by loud noises from the audience and the team members of the organisers coming on stage to sort the issue. Watch the video here.
Following the incident, the Agra Police has registered a case against Palak’s Muchhal’s brother, recent reports suggest.
According to Station house officer, Tajganj, Shailendra Singh said the FIR was registered under sections 323 (voluntarily causing hurt) 504 (Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace), 506 (criminal Intimidation) 332 (voluntarily causing hurt to deter public servant from his duty), 427 (mischief causing damage to the amount of fifty rupees) against Palash Muchhal.
Meanwhile, Palak Muchchal spoke about the whole incident and said that a drunk organizer pointed finger at her mother. “Everything was going well. Suddenly, one person from the organizing committee came up to me on the stage requesting a Holi song. He was drunk at that time. When my mother asked him why he had directly approached me, he misbehaved with her and pointed a finger at her face,” Palak was quoted as saying to Times of India.
