Is Simi Garewal trying to say that Salman Khan is trying to save Saif Ali Khan in blackbuck case?
Salman Khan had been in lots of headlines during last week, and this time not for his upcoming movies, but for his 1998 blackbuck case verdict. The superstar has been convicted in the infamous case by Jodhpur Court and sentenced to five years in prison. Reactions started pouring in from all the quarters, mostly backing the Race 3 actor. Veteran actress and TV host Simi Garewal also took to Twitter to offer her two cents to the matter.
In her cryptic tweet, Simi Garewal hinted that Salman Khan is trying to save ‘someone’ (probably Saif Ali Khan’ for some silly reasons. She took to Twitter expressing her support to the actor and asserting that the real culprit is still sitting behind the veils. She wrote, “Of one thing I am dead sure..@BeingSalmanKhan would NEVER EVER harm any animal. He loves them too much. The real culprit should be exposed. 20 years is too long to bear someone else's cross.”
This single tweet created a ruffle on the social media. Not only this, Simi Garewal continued speaking in favour of Salman Khan and also retweeted the tweets that suggested Saif Ali Khan is the real culprit. One of the social media users suggested that it was Saif who killed the blackbucks and asked the actress’ views on this. Simi Garewal replied saying ‘I am in shock’. She didn’t directly denied the user’s claim.
Simi Garewal even retweeted a tweet which directly named Saif Ali Khan as a culprit. It read, “Real culprit is saif...Simi Mam...n Afsana Mam..i request u ..to plz talk abt salman sir's parents...tht..thy convince him now...to speak abt the real culprit..plzzzzz Iam begging u ..both.”
Simi also wrote that Salman Khan’s humanitarian deeds are irrelevant in this case, but he didn’t kill the blackbucks. He is taking someone else’s blame.
"The charity, the generosity etc of @BeingSalmanKhan is irrelevant here. What is all-important is the fact that he did NOT pull the trigger! He did NOT commit the crime. He is protecting someone for silly emotional reasons. Even at a HUGE cost to himself,” she wrote.
“Just wondering...does the person @BeingSalmanKhan is 'protecting' have NO conscience??,” she added.
Saif Ali Khan with Sonali Bendre, Tabu and Neelam Kothari were acquitted in the blackbuck case by the Jodhpur Court last week. This started a war on Twitter with people expressing their disappointment in the court’s decision of singling Salman Khan out.
