Bollywood actress Shraddha Kapoor, who was last seen in the film Haseena Parkar, posted a picture of “Indian soldiers” thanking them for their services. The actress took to social media and shared an image of soldiers withstanding the extreme cold weather conditions and carrying out their duties of protecting the nation. She wrote, “They freeze to make sure that we are warm. They protect to make sure that we feel safe. Can never thank you Jawaans enough.” Have a look at Shraddha Kapoor’s post.
Well, the actress’ feelings and sentiments behind sharing the pic were genuine but what she didn’t realise was that the pic she shared was a fake one. Within no time of her posting it, a website called SM Hoax Slayer tweeted, calling her out. They wrote, “Good thought. We all agree but this particular photo is of Russian Army. We are already proud of our soldiers, don’t need fake ones to escalate our respect.
Needless to say, hell broke loose thereafter with Twitterati going absolutely berserk with their comments on the actress. While, Shraddha hasn’t pulled down the post yet, it would be interesting to see her reaction on this. Take a look at the posts below.
On the professional front, Shraddha Kapoor is all set to share screen space with South superstar Prabhas and Neil Nitin Mukesh in Saaho. The movie is being shot in Telugu and Hindi simultaneously but will be dubbed into Malayalam and other languages later.
While Alia Bhatt and Anushka Shetty were touted as the initial choices for the thriller, Kapoor walked away with the much-needed role. She also has ace shuttler player Saina Nehwal's biopic in her kitty.
