Actress Shilpa Shetty is currently enjoying her vacation with husband Raj Kundra and son Viaan in Maldives. The lady recently shared a video in which she can be seen catching a fish and later releasing it. As soon as she posted the video, a section of internet criticised her for cruelty and hypocrisy as the lady was associated with PETA.
Shilpa took to social networking site Instagram to share a video. She captioned it as, “Realised “Fishing” ain’t that easy... not my thing at least !!This beauty got caught in our hook( not the kind to eat) so we released it️But my son caught the most whilst @rajkundra9 says he already has the best “catch”#deepseafishing #kanuhura #memories #fishingexpedition #instagood #maldives #releasedthefish.”
After the lady was trolled, she wrote, “Dear Instafam, just want you guys to know that I’m a “non-vegetarian”, I’ve made no bones abt it. But despite me being one, this fish isn’t the kind one eats so I released it....Yes I did...And NO this one DID NOT DIE.”
In 2006, the actress campaigned for PETA against the use of wild animals in circuses.
