Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor's last release Padmaavat raked in over Rs 300 crore at the box office, and he has a number of interesting projects in his kitty. Things are going swimmingly on the personal front as well as Shahid is expecting his second child with wife Mira Rajput. Now, the actor has bough a new home in Worli Mumbai, and the cost of the luxury apartment is a shocker. The price of Shahid and Mira new home is Rs 55.60 crore, according to a DNA report. The actor also paid Rs 2.91 crore as stamp duty to the government for its registration, the report added.
Furthermore, the report said that the flat is located on the 42nd-43rd floors of Tower B of Three Sixty West, and the portions of the two floors measure 427.98 square metre and 300.48 sq m, including a balcony spanning 40.88 sq m. The total area adds up to 801.30 sq m, or 8,625 sq ft.
The name of the building is Thirty-Six West and is currently under construction.
Among Shahid’s neighbours in the new tower will be Akshay Kumar and Abhishek Bachchan, who paid Rs 27.94 crore and Rs 41.14 crore respectively.
Mira Rajput is currently pregnant with her second child. Her first child, Misha Kapoor, was born in August 2016, a year after the couple tied the knot. Mira’s second pregnancy has caused a great of excitement in the media, with paparazzi constantly chasing the star wife for photos.
Meanwhile, Shahid Kapoor will be seen next in Batti Gul Meter Chalu, which also stars Shraddha Kapoor in a pivotal role. The film is about bringing the social issue of electricity shortage to the notice of people and to encourage authorities to investigate the inaccuracies of electricity bills.
