Bollywood’s renowned filmmaker Zoya Akhtar turned 46 years old on Saturday, celebrated her birthday with a low-key party at her residence. The bash was attended by her close friends which included Shah Rukh Khan, Gauri Khan, Sanjay Kapoor, Dia Mirza, Chunky Pandey and Karan Johar. The superstar arrived at the party in casual outfits with his wife Gauri. However, her brother Farhan Akhtar is currently in London to shoot for his upcoming film The Sky is Pink with actress Priyanka Chopra.
Gauri Khan looked elegant in white blouse and black denim. She donned the no-makeup look, looking beautiful as usual. Gauri arrived without SRK, but the couple was spotted leaving the party together.

Apart from SRK and Gauri, Chunkey Pandey, Bhavana Pandey, Karan Johar, Dolly Sidhwani, Sikandar Kher and many others were present to celebrate Zoya Akhtar’s birthday.

Shabana Azmi joined daughter Zoya Akhtar for her birthday party. The filmmaker also posed with her father Javed Akhtar at the party.
On the work front, Zoya Akhtar has recently wrapped up shooting for Gully Boy which has Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh in the lead roles.
On Sunday, in the wake of #MeToo movement, Zoya Akhtar along with some other women directors took a pledge to not work with any sexual offender in future. They also promised that they will stand by the women who have been subjected to sexual harassment.
