Shah Rukh Khan, who will be seen next in Aanand L Rai film, has defeated Amitabh Bachchan in Twitter race. The Jab Harry Met Sejal actor is now the most followed Indian actor on the micro-blogging site. According to the latest reports, SRK has surpassed Amitabh Bachchan with a following of 32933940. Big B has 32897991 million followers on Twitter. Shah Rukh Khan’s posts get so much love and attention on Twitter that he has now become the most followed Indian actor on the social media site.

However, with a minuscule difference between their Twitter followers, it won’t be long before Bachchan overtakes SRK once again.  Seeing Bachchan post a collage of his own pics, whether it’s his own birthday or that of others is not just entertaining but also endearing in its own way. Besides, he’s always well abreast with news and has interesting things to post on his social media accounts.

On the other hand, SRK may not be as active as Big B but always posts something that can be talked about later.

Recently, Shah Rukh Khan spoke to BBC World News at length on gender equality in Bollywood and the cultural differences in India. In the midst of the raging debate over sexual misconduct allegations against powerful men in Hollywood, Shah Rukh was asked if he has witnessed sexual misconduct in the Hindi film industry and done anything about it. "At a level when I'm making films or working in films, we are very clear about the attitude to women. Even the smallest aspects, of the names coming first in title, which is not going to do anything, but the kind of respectability," Shah Rukh said on the "HARD talk on BBC World News" show.
