Shah Rukh Khan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan find place in new 100 outstanding Asians list
Asian Goegraphic magazine on Wednesday released a list of 100 outstanding people, titled ‘Astonishing Asians’ in which Bollywood actors Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan including many Indian personalities were featured in the people list for 2017.
Apart from these Bollywood actors, many celebrities, activists, writers, cricketers and businessmen have been named in the coveted 100 Outstanding People list.
The list includes Indian cricketer Sachin Tendulkar, India’s richest man Mukesh Ambani, economist Amartya Sen, author-activist Arundhati Roy and billionaire entrepreneur Kiran Mazumdar-Shaw.
100 outstanding Asians list
A couple of weeks ago, Aishwarya was honoured with the inaugural event of Meryl Streep Award for Excellence, as the first Women in Film and Television (WIFT) India Award in the global entertainment industry.
Focusing on stories about Asia continent, the Asian Geographic magazine usually draws inspiration from influential leadership icons, philanthropic champions, business magnates, science icons, sports and cultural figures who have influenced and inspired people globally.
For those of you who don’t know, Asian Geographic magazine that proudly holds the tagline of “Asia without borders”, carries stories on geography, culture, heritage, society, environment, exploration, conservation and art.
Meanwhile, Shah Rukh Khan will be seen next in Aanand L Rai’s Zero. it is learned that Shah Rukh Khan is giving his best to make sure his upcoming film Zero reaches out to the fan’s hearts. According to a report in DNa, a source has revealed to the publication, “This is undoubtedly SRK’s most ambitious film till date and he wants it at par with international standards. The first half of Zero is edited and even the VFX is complete. King Khan and his team have loved what they have seen. They are also cutting a trailer, which will release on his birthday (November 2). He has shown a few rushes of the movie to his industry friends, too, who have liked it.”
