Actress Priyanka Chopra was roped in to play opposite Salman Khan, however, she had to quit the film due to her engagement with American singer Nick Jonas.
When asked about replacing Priyanka in the movie, Katrina Kaif said that she is excited to work with Tiger Zinda Hai team once again. She also revealed that Zafar calls her 'Goldfish'. ''He said, ‘I am sending you a script and just react to it and tell me what you feel about it’. When I read the script, I thought it was an absolutely wonderful script and I felt extremely excited about the character which I am playing in the film. Therefore, I am very happy to be part of the film,'' said the actress.
Katrina also revealed her look from Bharat. Katrina can be seen flaunting her beachy waves in one of her social media posts. Salman's brother-in-law Atul Agnihotri, who is co-producing the film has also shared many pictures and videos from the sets.

Bharat is an official remake of the South Korean film, An Ode to My Father. Reportedly, both the leads will sport five different looks as the movie spans across different time period. Disha Patani is playing a trapeze artist in the flick. After shooting two dramatic sequences in Mumbai, the team is now in Malta. The shooting of the film will take place in Abu Dhabi, Punjab, New Delhi among other cities. The movie also features Nora Fatehi, Tabu and Sunil Grover and is slated to release during Eid in 2019. Bharat marks the third collaboration of Zafar and Salman after Sultan and Tiger Zinda Hai. Both the movies were blockbuster as they minted more than Rs 300 crores.
