Buzz around Priyanka Chopra's exit from Bharat is in no mood to die. PeeCee joined Salman Khan's Bharat as her comeback Bollywood project only to quit it later. The actress shocked everyone by making an exit from Ali Abbas Zafar's directorial. The actress' exit triggered several speculations and some of the reasons that popped up were pay differences and new additions to the star cast.
However, director Zafar's tweet hinted at an altogether different story. His tweet dropped a major hint that the actress is out of the film due to her engagement. So far, neither Salman nor Priyanka has spoken on the subject, though, one of the producers said that 'it was a bit unprofessional' on her part. Now finally, at the trailer launch of Loveratri, Salman Khan opened up on the controversial exit.
When a journalist questioned him on PeeCee, he said, ''I’ve not been reading the newspapers for the past 3-4 days. I’ve been busy with things. When I read, I will call and give you my answer.” Well, we are clueless as Salman didn't reveal his inner feelings about Priyanka's sudden exit with this answer.
Later at the trailer launch in Delhi, Salman said that Priyanka came to his house and expressed her desire to quit the film. However, later they came to know that she has signed a Hollywood project. ''It seems that she doesn't want to work with Salman,'' the actor added. He also congratulated the actress and said that she is making India proud and he is happy for her.
Earlier, Salman's father Salim Khan in an interview with Spotboye made it clear that there are no harsh feelings as such things keep on happening in the industry. ''Such things happen. Sometimes they happen for date issues, or the role, or even the money aspect. Aur kabhi aadmi ki kuch apni majbooriyan hoti hai. I haven’t yet got into the details of why Priyanka left Bharat, but we shall soon cast someone else. We are not upset with Priyanka. Salman Khan is also not upset,'' he said.
Later, Katrina Kaif was roped in for the female lead. Bharat will mark the reunion of Tiger Zinda Hai team. The first schedule of the movie has been wrapped up and the team is all set for Malta. Bharat stars Disha Patani, Tabu and Sunil Grover among others.
