Bollywood actor Salman Khan, who is currently on bail after being convicted in the 1998 blakbuck poaching case, got the permission of the court to travel outside India on Tuesday morning. After being granted permission, the superstar will be flying to Canada, Nepal and the USA from 25th May to 10th July. The reasons behind Salman Khan’s tour haven’t been clarified as yet. The actor was shooting for his upcoming film Race 3 with director Remo D’Souza and co-stars Jacqueline Fernandez. Earlier this month, he was sentenced to five years in prison by Jodhpur District and Sessions Court.
Salman Khan was found guilty in the blackbuck poaching case. During the shooting of Hum Saath Saath Hain, actor and his co-stars Saif Ali Khan, Neelam Kothari, Sonali Bendre and Tabu went on hunting in Kankani village near Jodhpur. They were accused of killing two blackbucks, who are enlisted under endangered species. The co-accused Saif, Tabu, Sonali and Neelam were acquitted.
After being convicted and sentenced, Salman Khan spent two nights in the Jodhpur jail before he was granted bail. He returned to Mumbai and began working on Race 3. Earlier, reports were saying that the makers will be shooting the remaining sequences in Leh instead of South Africa as Salman wasn’t allowed to travel outside India.
Apart from Race 3, Salman Khan will also appear in Bharat and Dabbang 3. After wrapping Race 3, he will start working on the other two projects. With Bharat, Priyanka Chopra will be making her comeback in Bollywood. The superstar will be also be doing a TV show Dus Ka Dum.
On Tuesday, the news of Priyanka Chopra working with Salman Khan in Bharat was confirmed. It will be Priyanka’s first Bollywood film in two years.
