Saif Ali Khan, who has left everyone impressed with his performance in the latest Netflix web series, Sacred Games recently opened up about his relationship with daughter, Sara Ali Khan. Sara is all set to make her Bollywood debut with Abhishek Kapoor's Kedarnath, co-starring Sushant Singh Rajput. She has also bagged another movie, Simmba, directed by Rohit Shetty and starring Ranveer Singh. Both the movies will release later this year and as usual, Saif is quite excited about her debut.
Saif, a proud dad was not surprised by Sara's decision to join the film industry. In a recent interview with Times Now, Saif said that his daughter was always fascinated by cinema. He also shared his camaraderie with Sara. He said, ''I was quite young when I had Sara, we have a drink together from time to time. We are more like friends, so there's very little I can lecture her on in that sense. It's a bit odd, someone might even cast us in a movie."
Saif said that Sara is one of her favourite people and he has full faith in her. In one of his interviews, Saif said, "I love her. I know everyone will say that about their children, but I admire the way she is.'' He also revealed that he doesn't interfere in her film selection process. Saif said that Sara is quite aware of what she is doing and moreover, he is not the kind of father who would read her daughter's scripts and give approval.
Sara Ali Khan was born to Saif with his first marriage to actress Amrita Singh. The duo parted their ways after which, Saif tied the knot with Bollywood diva Kareena Kapoor.
