After Tu Cheez Badi Hai Mast and Tamma Tamma, Bollywood is all set to give a new twist to another hit 90s song. Ace Bollywood Director Rohit Shetty is gearing up to recreate hit song Aankh Maare from 1996 film Tere Mere Sapne in his next release.

While Bollywood has already given us many newer version of old classics, the audience has always been divided when it comes to the response on the songs. The 1996 song had Arshad Warsi flirting with Simran, the reprised version will showcase chemistry between the young guns of Bollywood Sara Ali Khan and Ranveer Singh.
It is also learned that the remake will be composed by Tanishk Bagchi. Ranveer and Sara have already begun shooting for Shetty's Simmba and pictures from the sets have created quite a buzz among the audience. Fans are eagerly waiting for the flick to be released.
Simmba is an official remake of hit Telugu film Temper and it will see Ranveer as a corrupt cop, and Sara will play his love interest. Reports also have it that Sara Ali Khan was not the first choice for the movie but Karan wanted Lust Stories’ actor Kiara Advani to romance Ranveer Singh in the movie. However, things didn’t work out.
Produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions, Simmba is set to hit the screens on December 28.
