Rishi Kapoor talks about Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt
Rumours of upcoming Bollywood movie Brahmastra’s lead duo, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, dating are doing the rounds on the internet for a while now. Although the duo has never accepted their relationship, they also don’t shy away from involving in a little PDA on social media. Both Ranbir and Alia are asked about their marriage many times, but they refused to answer, however, Ranbir’s father Rishi Kapoor spoke at length about son Ranbir’s marriage choice Alia Bhatt.
Legendary actor Rishi Kapoor is known to speak his mind about everything under the sun. Recently, in an interview to Mumbai mirror, the actor addressed the topic of Ranbir’s marriage and said, “It’s Ranbir’s life. Who he wants to get married to is his prerogative,” he said. “Neetu likes her, I like her, Ranbir likes her. Get it? I can’t be judgmental. After all, my uncles Shammiji (Shammi Kapoor) and Shashiji (Shashi Kapoor) and I chose our life partners. Ranbir is entitled to choose his.” Well, this gives a hint that something is brewing between the two.
Alia Bhatt has been spending a lot of time with Ranbir Kapoor’s family lately and mother Neetu Kapoor has always shown her likeness for the Raazi actor through her comments on her posts. Alia even went for dinners with the Kapoor Khandaan. Addressing the topic of Alia Bhatt, Ranbir earlier told GQ, “It’s really new right now, and I don’t want to over speak. It needs time to breathe and it needs space.”
When Alia was asked to speak up bout the rumours of her marriage plans with co-star Ranbir Kapoor, the actress reacted calmly and said, "I don't react to rumours. Rumours are not meant to be reacted upon. As long as you aren't entering my bathroom, I am fine because if you are not talking about me then maybe I am not relevant enough. But honestly, I am in a very good place both personally and professionally so no issues whatsoever."
Alia and Ranbir are currently shooting for Ayan Mukerji directorial Brahmastra in Bulgaria.
