Ranveer Singh is one such firebrand actor of Bollywood who is known for his unpredictability and spontaneity. However, this time his spontaneity has landed him in soup. Recently, the actor was entertaining a vast crowd in Mumbai at a Lakme Fashoin Week event on Sunday. While singing the songs from his upcoming movie Gully Boy, Ranveer Singh jumped at the crowd without a warning, which left his fans injured.
The crowd was busy shooting their favourite actor on their smartphones and hence no one saw the muscular Ranveer Singh diving at them. Reports in newspapers claimed that many people were hurt, and some women were seen lying on the floor after taking a fall. Whether Ranveer Singh sustained the injuries or not, it’s not yet confirmed.
Soon after this incident, the video of his impromptu dive went viral on the internet. Social media sites like Twitter and Instagram was flowing with angry comments from the users asking Ranveer Singh to stop his childish antics.
Talking about Gully Boy, Ranveer Singh will play a struggling rapper in this Zoya Akhtar film. The film also stars Alia Bhatt and Kalki Koechlin in important roles. It is loosely based on the life of Mumbai street rappers Divine and Naezy. The film is scheduled to release on February 14th this year.
Ranveer Singh has also started working on Kapil Dev’s biopic 83 recently. He will also share screen space with Alia Bhatt and Kareena Kapoor Khan in Takht.
