Ranveer Singh punches Bhagyashree’s son Abhimanyu Dassani as he promotes Mard Ko Dard Nahi Hota
Ranveer Singh is one actor who is known to promote and support the film of his contemporaries. The actor is earlier seen promoting Vicky Kaushal’s Uri: The Surgical Strike as well as Anil Kapoor’s Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga and now he has shot for a promotional video for veteran Bollywood actress Bhagyashree’s son Abhimanyu Dassani’s debut film Mard Ko Dard Nahi Hota.
Abhimanyu Dasani took to his Instagram to share a video in which Bollywood superstar Ranveer Singh is seen treating him with a brutal punch as a part of the promotion of his upcoming film Mard Ko Dard Nahi Hota. The actor captioned the video as, “@ranveersingh Simmba meets Surya!..... Dard nahi hota baki sab hota hai. Still love you bro tu hi Mera Bhai ha.” In the video, Ranveer is seen punching Abhimanyu on the crotch and as he falls on the floor in pain, Ranveer addresses the camera and says, “It’s cool, it’s cool. Kyuki Mard Ko Dard Nahi Hota (Because the man feels no pain).” Watch the video here-
The video went viral on the internet in no time. As Ranveer earned a lot of praise for promoting the film, fans were also impressed with Abhimanyu’s acting especially after the trailer of the film dropped on the internet. Talking about Mard Ko Dard Nahi Hota, it revolves around a young man, who is insensitive to pain and goes on to learn martial arts to catch criminals. Talking about audience response to the trailer of his film, Abhimanyu revealed, “I am feeling really happy with audience response to the trailer of our film. It’s surreal. We have been able to release this film after struggle of few years, so I am feeling really excited for the release of the film.”
Abhimanyu Dassani and his co-actor Radhika Madan have done some daredevil martial arts sequences in their upcoming film without using body doubles. Talking about his martial arts training, Abhimanyu said, “It was really difficult to do action sequences. We did training to pull off those action sequences for almost nine months and that too 7-8 hours every day. I learnt a lot in that process. I have grown watching martial art movies of Jackie Chan and Bruce Lee but for Radhika (Madan) to actually perform these stunts and give so much of effort was a commendable thing.”
Mard Ko Dard Nahi Hota is slated to hit the screens on March 21. It will clash at the box office with Akshay Kumar and Parineeti Chopra starrer Kesari.
