Randhir Kapoor rubbishes rumours of Rishi Kapoor diagnosed with Cancer, says ‘he doesn't know what he is suffering from’

Veteran Bollywood actor Rishi Kapoor is in America these days for his medical treatment. On Saturday Evening the actor sent out a tweet that got his fans worried however, he asked him not to speculate anything. Taking to Twitter, Rishi Kapoor wrote, “Hello all! I am taking a short leave of absence from work to go to America for some medical treatment. I urge my well wishers not to worry or unnecessarily speculate. It’s been 45 years “plus” of wear and tear at the movies. With your love and good wishes,I will be back soon!”.

However, it's not been a week that he is gone and rumours of him being diagnosed with cancer has started surfacing the internet. A media outlet reported that Rishi Kapoor is suffering from cancer and it is in the third stage. The report stated that Rishi Kapoor has been asked to undergo treatment for 45 days which includes chemotherapy sessions and that he is going through a trying time. This stirred a storm among the fans. However, Rishi Kapoor’s brother Randhir Kapoor was contacted by ETimes and he has revealed that his brother is yet to undergo tests and they will share the result of what he has been diagnosed with after that is done.

Randhir Kapoor said, "We don't know yet what is the exact nature of his ailment. Rishi himself doesn't know what he is suffering from. He has not even started undergoing tests there; how can people speculate that he has cancer and that too, one that has escalated to advanced stage."
