Ranbir Kapoor confesses his dad Rishi Kapoor never likes his films

Ranbir Kapoor, who is celebrating his 35th birthday today, made an appearance on Aap Ki Adalat in 2011, before the release of Rockstar. During the entire interview, he answered the questions without mincing his words. On his birthday, let’s share some interesting details of Ranbir Kapoor’s interview on Aap Ki Adalat with Rajat Sharma. In response to the question asked by the host, that why his father Rishi Kapoor never likes any of his films, he says, “This is true. My father is an utter-honest man. He never flatters anyone. Although, my mom is my fan, she likes all of my works. Actually, my father’s father (Raj Kapoor) was never flattered by his work. So this happens to me as well. “

“When my mom (Neetu Kapoor) asked my dad why he never liked any of my movies, he narrated a story about a boy who used to walk on a rope. The boy’s father never appreciated his act as he was scared that it might shift his focus towards the praises instead of his act. I’m really proud to know the reason why my dad never appreciates any of my movies. I guess I haven’t delivered my best performance yet.”

Ranbir also spoke about his ‘Casanova’ image in Bollywood. He’s said to have dated many women in his life and is also seen jumping from one relationship to another. Shedding light on this fact, he said, “I never tried that people perceive me as a Casanova. I’m here to act. I would like if people talk about my movies. I feel hurt when people ask only about my relationships instead of my work. I will try to work hard and change this image. I will find the right girl, get married and settle in my life.”

Ranbir Kapoor is going to make an appearance as Sanjay Dutt in his biopic. The title of the film has not been declared yet. It is being helmed by Rajkumar Hirani.
