Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt meet President Ram Nath Kovind on Brahmastra sets in Bulgaria
Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt were on cloud nine as they met country's President Ram nath Kovind in Bulgaria. The President of India Ram Nath Kovind is on a three-day official visit to Europe. As a part of his second leg of his visit, honourable President is in Bulgaria where Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are shooting for their upcoming Bollywood movie Brahmastra. He along with President Radev took time out of their busy schedules to visit the sets of Ayan Mukerji’s film and Sofia and interact with the star cast.
President of India’s official handle shared photos of Ram Nath Kovind and Rumen Radev’s visit to the sets of Brahmastra. They met the team of Brahmastra including lead actors Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt. The handle tweeted, “President Kovind and President Radev dropped in at the studio in Sofia where the Hindi film Brahmastra is being made. The Presidents met the Indo-Bulgarian crew and chatted about cinema as a business and cultural link between the two countries @aliaabhatt”
In the picture, Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor are seen posing for a photograph with the President. Many more pictures are doing round on the internet in which Ranbir Singh is seen escorting the Presidents inside the studio. In another picture, Director Ayan Mukerji and Ranbir Kapoor are seen interacting with them.
While on the three day official visit to Europe, President Ram Nath Kovind addressed the Indian diaspora in Bulgaria’s capital Sofia. President Kovind also held talks with the President of Bulgaria Rumen Radev and the two leaders witnessed signing of four MoUs between the two countries.
On the other hand, Ranbir and Alia have already completed two schedules of their film Brahmastra in Bulgaria earlier this year. The movie is said to be a romantic super-natural thriller and is the first of a trilogy that has been planned by the director. The film will release on Independence Day next year.
