If you remember everything from last year, you must know how Ram Gopal Varma vanished from Twitter in May 2017. After a sabbatical of seven months, the filmmaker is back on Twitter and that too with a bang. Don’t expect that Ram Gopal Varma has corrected his way of tweets after the break. He’s as unapologetic and straightforward. His tweets are as questionable and controversial as before. Just as he came, he tweeted about superstar Rajinikanth and Tollywood star Pawan Kalyan.
Yes, he has done it again. In a series of tweets, Ram Gopal Varma spoke volumes about Rajinikanth’s entry into politics. He also challenged Tollywood star Pawan Kalyan to contest elections for all seats in Andhra Pradesh just like Rajinikanth is doing in Tamil Nadu.
Tweeting about Powerstar Pawan Kalyan wrote, “I wish @PawanKalyan will contest all seats in AP like @superstarrajini doing in TN ..if he doesn’t do,PK’s fans will feel he doesn’t have guts like Rajinikanth ..it will be an insult to telugu people’s prestige if our Superstar has lesser guts than the Superstar of Tamil people.”
“If @PawanKalyan doesn’t with guts contest in each and every seat of AP, both his fans and all telugu people will feel he’s just a very ordinary star and not a SUPERSTAR like @superstarrajini of the Tamil people,” he adds.
On Thursday, he also criticised the violence in Maharashtra by Dalit groups in cryptic tweet. He wrote: A bandh is a day where work less people force working people to stop working
Honestly, Twitter was getting a bit boring after Ram Gopal Varma’s Twitter account became inactive. Last year, Twitter’s motor-mouth Kamal Rashid Khan aka KRK’s official handle was suspended after an offensive tweet. But he made another Twitter account to continue entertaining his fans.
Last year as well, Ram Gopal Varma was extremely critical of Pawan Kalyan’s Katamarayudu before quitting Twitter. He also criticised Chiranjeevi’s comeback film Khaidi No. 150.
