Rajpal Yadav lost important role in Ayushmann Khurrana's Dream Girl for THIS reason
Bollywood actor Rajpal Yadav, who is seen in films like Chup Chup Ke and Bhool Bhulaiya, had been serving his jail term in a case of non-repayment of a loan. The actor who got arrested in November 2018 over for 5 crore recovery suit and got released from Tihar Jail in February this year, reveals that he is now healed from the jail sentence and is excited to bounce back to work. While Rajpal Yadav already has a bunch of films in his kitty, the latest buzz suggests that he was supposed to eb a part of Ayushmann Khurrana starrer Dream Girl but due to his unavailability, he lost on an important part in the film.
According to the reports in Spotboye, a source revealed to them, “Rajpal Yadav had a very important role in the movie. But due to his unavailability they have roped in Stree actor, Abhishek Banerjee to play his character.” Ekta Kapoor's Dream Girl starring, Ayushmann Khurranna and Nushrat Bharucha in the main lead is already the headlines for its quirky storyline and fans are excited to see Ayushmann Khurrana back onscreen after his spell-binding performances in Badhaai Ho and Andhadhun. While it would have been interesting to se Rajpal Yadav and Ayushmann together, Abhishek’s presence has also made the fans excited. Talking about Abhishek Banerjee, he was a casting director and made his acting debut with Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor starrer Stree. His role of Jana was much loved and appreciated in the film and the actor will now be seen in Dream Girl.
On the other hand, Rajpal Yadav revealed that he has a bunch of films that he is excited to start shooting for. "I will soon start the shooting of the film Time To Dance alongside Sooraj Pancholi and Isabelle Kaif. We shot the film abroad. A small part of it remains. We will finish that. It could have been finished before,'' Rajpal said to IANS. He also thanked the directors who waited for him to get out of jail. “I am really thankful to the producers and directors who waited for me to come back,'' he continued.
"Apart from that, I am also wrapping up Jaako Raakhe Saaiyan. I am also in talks to work with David Dhawan and Priyadarshan. I can't wait to go back on a film set now," Rajpal added.
