Bollywood actor Anil Kapoor has completed 35 years in Bollywood, albeit he hasn’t aged a year. Despite being in the sixth decade of his life, there’s no single sign of age on his face or his body. On completing the glorious 35 years in Bollywood, the Race 3 actor got nostalgic, emotional and shared a heartfelt note on the occasion. Narrating his journey from his first film Woh 7 Din to his latest offering Race 3, Anil Kapoor left no stone unturned while thanking his fans and family.
In his note, Anil Kapoor mentioned that this industry gave him everything, from family to home. Indeed! It was his initial struggle in the film industry that led him to the love of his life Sunita Kapoor. He met her while he was finding ways to make a cut in Bollywood. Sunita was a successful model and her father was positioned in State Bank of India. They talked, they met, they fell in love and the rest is history. Now they are parents to three beautiful children Sonam Kapoor, Rhea Kapoor and Harshvardhan Kapoor.
Talking about Anil Kapoor’s first move in Bollywood, he already debuted in Bollywood in 1971 with movie Tu Payal Mein Geet, however the movie didn’t release. In 1979, he did a cameo appearance in Humare Tumhare but his role didn’t make an impact among audience. It was Woh Saat Din that established him as a mainstream actor in Bollywood. Soon after the release of Woh Saat Din, Anil Kapoor’s fame saw no bounds. His success and statute in Bollywood increased four folds after Mr India which also starred Sridevi.
Anil Kapoor has a long way to. He has a number of films in his kitty including Aishwarya Rai Bachchan-starrer Fanne Khan, Total Dhamaal and also Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga.
