Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas have the world media on their heels. They are living up their courtship days and a rumoured engagement under intense media glare, but they are still wary of accepting it in so many words. But, now it looks like our Desi girl Priyanka Chopra is all set to make her engagement with American singer Nick Jonas official soon.
In June, Nick came down to Mumbai with PeeCee to meet her family. According to buzz, he proposed on her birthday — July 18, and obviously, she said yes. Now, we hear, they will be in Mumbai soon again.
“Priyanka has sent out messages to close friends and family members to set aside time on August 18 for a party. It’s exactly a month after her birthday and those close to the Quantico actor feel that she may make an official announcement about her relationship status at the bash. However, the venue of the do has been kept under wraps”, a source was quoted as saying to DNA.
This time, Nick and his family are expected to join the couple. "His family, too, is expected to join the couple for the trip. Nick, who was earlier a member of the band Jonas Brothers, is part of a close-knit clan. In fact, PeeCee and he took out time to attend the latter's cousin's wedding in June," added the source.
Recently, when a fan congratulated him on his engagement, Nick said, "Thanks, man." This is the closest Nick and Priyanka have come to acknowledging their relationship, after director Ali Abbas Zafar tweeted about PeeCee's exit from Bharat in the 'Nick of Time'.
On the work front, the 36-year-old will next be seen in Hollywood movie 'Isn't it Romantic'; while in Bollywood, she will play a major role in Shonali Bose's directorial debut 'The Sky is Pink'. However, her film with Chris Pratt titled Cowboy Ninja Viking has been delayed indefinitely.
Recently, she started working on her upcoming Shonali Bose film The Sky is Pink. She shared pictures and videos from the sets on her Instagram account.
