Priyanka Chopra, who is all set to tie the knot with American singer Nick Jonas couldn't be happier when her fiance arrived in Delhi. The 36-year-old actress gave a warm welcome to Nick and also treated us with a romantic picture. She took to Instagram to share the selfie and caption it, ''Welcome home baby''. The couple also enjoyed a dinner party with friends and family later in the evening. ''Happy thanksgiving.. family.. forever..,'' PeeCee captioned the photo.
Priyanka is shooting in Delhi for The Sky Is Pink, directed by Shonali Bose. PeeCee will be shooting for the film till the eve of her nuptials. Talking about it with IANS, Producer Siddharth Roy Kapur said, ''Priyanka has been wonderful. She will be shooting with us right till the very eve of her nuptials, which I think shows a tremendous amount of professionalism." Post PeeCee's wedding, the team will shoot in Mumbai and the Andaman Islands.
Ahead of arrival, Nick shared a video on Instagram and netizens were not late to speculate that he is en route India for his much-awaited wedding. Priyanka and Nick will tie the knot on December 2 with possible venues as Jodhpur's Mehrangarh Fort and Umaid Bhawan Palace. The duo will also have a Christian wedding.
As PeeCee and Nick are in Delhi, rumour mills are abuzz that they can meet PM Narendra Modi to invite him for their wedding. Earlier, Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli invited the PM to their Delhi wedding reception.
Earlier, Priyanka distributed her Shaadi Ki Mithai (macaroons from Paris) to the cast and crew of her film, The Sky Is Pink. Farhan Akhtar and Shonali Bose shared pictures of colourful macaroons on their Instagram. As per NDTV report, the macaroons were from the French luxury dessert brand Maison Laudree. It is reportedly the same brand which catered at the engagement bash of Akash Ambani and Shloka Mehta.
