Are Priyanka Chopra, Nick Jonas suing US magazine for spreading false divorce rumours?
Fan-favourite couple Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas who were married last year in the month of December are once again making headlines. While the passionate love affair between the two can be seen on their social media accounts, there were rumours all over the internet that Indian actress Priyanka and American singer Nick are breaking the vows. With this non-sensical piece of news, Priyanka and Nick are all set to sue the US magazine that ran an article on the couple's divorce after just 117 days of marriage.
OK! magazine quoted a source saying, "They've been fighting about everything - work, partying, spending time together. The bottom line is that Nick and Priyanka rushed into things...And now they're paying the price. Their marriage is hanging by a thread."
If an entertainment website is to be believed, Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas are prepping to sue the magazine for spreading false information. The portal also mentions a statement made by a close source to the actress which says: "Once she makes up her mind to deal with negative rumour-mongering, nothing can stop her. Priyanka will let loose her legal team on this news-manufacturing tabloid and ensure they get to their knees."
A source close to the Quantico star has rubbished the report, saying, “These are all cooked-up stories just to create an unnecessary stir and sell copies. Priyanka and Nick are happily married, but it’s saddening to see how people are targeting the couple ever since they tied the knot. And if it was an April Fool’s prank, it was a terrible one for sure.”
The website quoted Priyanka's friend saying, "I met them both last week. The vibes between Priyanka and Nick is so warm no party pooper can piss on her parade. Tabloids and portals that go any lengths to generate news must be told where to get off."
