Priyanka Chopra gets trolled for bursting firecrackers at wedding with Nick Jonas
Bollywood diva Priyanka Chopra and beau Nick Jonas had one of the biggest weddings in B-town. From a dreamy mehendi ceremony to a sangeet that looked like an awards night, the duo is teasing the fans with pictures and videos every now and then. Priyanka and Nick have already said their vows to each other in a wedding ceremony according to Christian rituals on Saturday and according to the Hindu traditions on Sunday. Even the world knew that now Priyanka Chopra has become Mrs. Jonas as the sky above the royal Umaid Bhawan in Jodhpur was lit with fireworks the moment Nick and Priyanka said ‘I Do’. While this was the most beautiful moment in the couple’s life and we are awaiting the gorgeous pictures, the fireworks didn’t go down well with the netizens. When the video of the firecrackers lighting up the sky went viral, netizens called it ‘heights of hypocrisy’.
Netizens were all over there calling out to Priyanka Chopra for being an anti-pollution campaigner and still bursting firecrackers on her wedding day. Just recently near Diwali, PeeCee has shared a video about her asthma and told how pollution affects people. Now with her own act, she has come under the eye of the trolls and they are not letting her go easily. Here’s what they are saying-
After sharing pictures from her sangeet ceremony, Priyanka shared the video and pictures with a beautiful caption from her sangeet festivities today. The post read, “It all began as a fierce song & dance competition between the families but ended, as always, as a huge celebration of love. Nick and I were looking forward to the Sangeet (musical evening), another pre wedding ritual.. and to see what each side had put together. And what a performance it was. Each family telling our stories through song and dance, filled with lots of laughter and love. We were both filled with gratitude for the effort, the love and the laughter and will carry the memories of this special evening for the rest of our lives. It is an amazing start to a lifetime of togetherness for our families and friends.. #grateful.”
