Priyanka Chopra’s brother Siddharth’s wedding gets postponed, here’s why
Priyanka Chopra is currently enjoying her days in her home country by catching up with her family and friends. She has been treating her fans and followers with pictures of every memory she is making as she spend some quality time with her family. PeeCee was last in India for her brother Siddharth Chopra’s roka ceremony with his long-time girlfriend Ishita Kumar. While his wedding was supposed to take place last weekend but got postponed because of the bride-to-be Ishita.
Well, going by the reports in Mumbai Mirror, the wedding was supposed to happen this month but since the bride-to-be had to undergo emergency surgery just days before the ceremony, the wedding got postponed. The publication quoted the source saying, “There are rumours that the wedding has been called off, but it is not true. Ishita needs some time to recuperate from her surgery and the families are looking for another mahurat.”
On Monday evening, PeeCee took to her Instagram to shower love on her mother Madhu Chopra who plays an important role in making the actress what she is. Priyanka Chopra was all praise for her single mother in the post and shared pictures from her clinic. She wrote, “One of the greatest individual challenges we face in our lives is the ability to constantly evolve as people and professionals. It means pushing yourself to challenge the status quo. It’s something I work towards everyday with everything I do. And it’s a lesson from my mother Dr. @madhumalati. She has constantly reinvented herself in the pursuit to be her best self in her many roles from a physician in the army, to a film producer, an entrepreneur to a daughter, wife, sister, mother and a friend.”
She further wrote, “And today was no different. She took yet another step in her professional journey with a new addition to her successful venture @studio_aesthetique. So proud to stand beside her and her partner @drneetikamodi in this new offering as they unveiled it to the world. Congratulations mom... your ability to challenge yourself to excel at everything you do has inspired us to be the people we are today! Here’s to many more milestones!”
As a proud citizen, PeeCee also flaunted her inked finger as she fulfilled her role as a responsible citizen on Monday but voting in the fourth phase of Lok Sabha Elections 2019. Check out her post here-
