Priyanka Chopra breaks her silence on being criticised for sharing pictures with husband Nick Jonas
Priyanka Chopra, the 'Desi girl' of Bollywood tied the pious knot with American singer and actor Nick Jonas last year in December. Their wedding had been the talk of the town ever since they got married. With the grandeur of the wedding and week-long celebrations, it was obvious to catch all the attention. Ever since then, Priyanka and Nick have been quite comfortable about their relationship and sharing pictures with each other.
However, Priyanka Chopra has been trolled and was bashed with many hateful comments. Priyanka tried to ignore many of these comments gracefully ut somewhere deep down, they affect you. In a recent interview, Priyanka Chopra confessed saying, “Just because I'm famous, don't I have the ability to be proud of being a newlywed without people saying that I'm using my marriage? I gave up my right to privacy when I became a public person, it's the deal you make with the devil. But trust me, there are lots of things I still keep personal.”
The hatred went to the extent that some people called this marriage a scam. In fact, a magazine labeled this wedding as a global scam wedding and called Priyanka a global scam artist. It was rumoured that the marriage is just a publicity stunt to boost her career in Hollywood. Priyanka chose to give it a befitting reply, she said, “I didn't comment on it at the time. But I went up to the hotel room to find Nick, Joe, Sophie Turner, and my mum furiously responding to the article on their phones. They were like, 'These b*******! How dare they?' I thought, 'I'm having a great moment, nothing is going to burst my bubble."
Well, that's how the life of celebs function. They are bashed with hatred and negativity at one point and loved at the other. However, the couple is enjoying a blissful marital life as evident from their pictures.
