Priyanka Chopra, Nick Jonas extend heartfelt 'Thank you' to PM Narendra Modi for gracing their Delhi reception

After a grand and royal wedding among the beautiful locales of Jodhpur at Taj Umaid Bhawan Palace, newlyweds Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas hosted a lavish reception in the capital city, New Delhi. The gala evening took place in the Durbar Hall at the Taj Palace Hotel which was elegantly done with exotic white and soft pink flowers, and the "NP" icon, which has remained a staple throughout the couple's wedding, stood out on the elaborate stage. Along with the newlyweds' friends and family, the reception was attended by many dignitaries like PM Narendra Modi, designer Ritu Kumar and others. Priyanka took to her social media to extend her thank you to PM Narendra Modi for gracing another special evening of her life.

Sharing a picture with the Prime Minister from the evening, Priyanka wrote, "A heartfelt thank you to Hon'ble Shri @narendramodi ji for gracing us with your presence. Touched by your kind words and blessings. @nickjonas" In the picture, the lovestruck couple Priyanka and Nick are seen attending the Prime Minister on the stage and sharing a laugh. Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas looked like a dream come true at their wedding reception. Priyanka Chopra dazzled in an elegant white bejewelled ensemble by designer duo Falguni Shane and Peacock with a multi-layered diamond necklace and earrings by Khanna Jewellers, with her hair neatly tied in a bun complete with white roses. She flaunted the "Chopra", traditional red bangles worn by a Punjabi bride, and sported vermillion. Nick Jonas, on the other hand, looked drool-worthy in a velvet dinner jacket and completed the look with a bow tie.

Not just Priyanka, but Nick Jonas also commented on the same post thanking the Prime Minister for joining them in their celebrations.

Talking about the Prime Minister, he was dressed in a white kurta-pyjama with a black Nehru jacket. He remained on stage for about 10 minutes, meeting Nick and Priyanka's families with folded hands and exchanging pleasantries. PM Narendra Modi was escorted on stage by Priyanka's mother Madhu Chopra.

The Prime Minister also took to his Instagram to bless the newlyweds and wrote "Congratulations @priyankachopra and @nickjonas. Wishing you a happy married life." Check out his post here-
