Bollywood actress Parineeti Chopra is mostly known for her bubbly roles. The actress who was once criticised for her weight and body is now earning praises for flaunting her stretch marks. Parineeti recently uploaded a photo with stretch mark and it became a hit with the internet.
Wearing bright sunglasses, she captioned her Instagram post, ''Bright blue sunglasses for life!!! thanks @drishtiplatinum for these beautiess!!" Able to be connected to the pic, fans heap praises on her. "Flaunting stretch marks proudly,'' wrote one user. ''The stretch marks represent your hard work,'' wrote another. The picture garnered over 4 lakh likes in just 17 hours.
Earlier, Kareena Kapoor Khan was trolled for her latest photoshoot. People couldn't digest her toned body without any stretch marks. Many thought it was photoshopped as it was Kareena's first photoshoot after Taimur's birth.
Parineeti's story from flab-to-fit is inspiring. The actress took a gap of three years and worked on her fitness. In an interview, the actress said, "I have struggled with my weight. I was big and unhealthy, not chubby. I took it upon myself to work towards this. There was pressure of Bollywood to bring me on right part. I am fit now. People need to be fit no matter what size they are. I was big and unfit. It took me a year and half to reach here.''
After 2014 Kill Dil, the actress made a comeback with 2017 Meri Pyaari Bindu which tanked at box office. However, her multi-starrer Rohit Shetty's comedy Golmaal 4 was a huge hit.
Parineeti has some interesting projects lined up. She will next be seen in Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar and Namaste Canada, both co-starring Arjun Kapoor. She will also share screen space with Akshay Kumar in Kesari.
