Parineeti Chopra finally reveals what brother-in-law Nick Jonas gave her as shoe-stealing gift
When Bollywood diva Priyanka Chopra married American singer Nick Jonas, sister Parineeti Chopra started to get flooded with questions about how much money she received from the groom after hiding his shoes in the ceremonies. While many speculations and assumptions were made about the amount, Parineeti kept mum on it, until now. Recently, the Ishqzaade actress featured on Vogue BFFs along with best friend Sania Mirza and finally broke her silence on what brother-in-law Nick Jonas gifted her in the shoe-stealing ceremony.
After the most-talked-about Nickyanka wedding, Priyanka’s cousin sister Parineeti Chopra hinted that brother-in-law Nick Jonas gave all the bridesmaids a very expensive gift but didn’t reveal what it was. However, when she shot for the episode of Vogue BFFs, host Neha Dhupia asked her the million dollar question and she revealed that Nick Jonas presented all the bridesmaids with expensive diamond rings. The bridesmaids included Sophie Turner, Arpita Khan Sharma and Isha Ambani. According to a report in Mid-Day, when Neha asked about her ‘jutta churai’ gift from the wedding, Parineeti said that the girls and her had made up their minds to ask Nick for a big amount but the groom had come prepared. He signalled his groomsmen to bring out several diamond rings for all the bridesmaids. “He is the best,” Pari said about Nick.
Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas got married in a dreamy wedding ceremony on December 1 and 2 in Jodhpur last year. The two tied the knot according to both Christian and Hindu rituals. The duo followed the fairytale wedding with two wedding receptions, one in Delhi which was attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and another one in Mumbai which was attended by all the big names of Bollywood.
Currently, Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Nick Jonas are in the US where Nick’s parents hosted a special reception for the newlyweds in Charlotte, North Carolina. Priyanka even shared the pictures from the same and thanked in parents-in-law for the celebration.
