Parineeti Chopra's reaction to rumours of Sidharth Malhotra quitting Jabariya Jodi
Parineeti Chopra and Sidharth Malhotra’s upcoming film Jabariya Jodi has been making waves in the industry since the release of the first look posters of the film. From falling in love with Sidharth’s boy next door avatar to Parineeti’s infectious smile, people can’t stop talking about it. The movie is in the news lately for another reason that lead actor Sidharth Malhotra is quitting the film. When the rumour reached Parineeti’s ears, the actress had the most hilarious reaction.
A leading publication said that Sidharth has chosen to walk out of the film for reasons lesser known to them. As the report spread and reached Parineeti, the actress was quick to put the rumours at ret and took to Twitter and wrote, “Oh no so then who is this boy posing as Sidharth on my set? I was just about to shoot a romantic scene with him!! ?? @S1dharthM... @ektaravikapoor is this a K serial twist I didn't know about?”
Isn’t she on point! But this did not end on this note but producer Ekta Kapoor joined the reaction in no time. She said, “Face change babes!! Wait for wat happens post d freeze !!!!!heehaww” Looks like the actor-producer duo know exactly how to entertain such rumours and stop them.
After 'Hasee Toh Phasee', the Bollywood stars, Parineeti and Sidharth, are reuniting for producer Ekta Kapoor's next. Ekta Kapoor had earlier tweeted a picture of the film's clapboard announcing that the shooting for the film has begun. Calling it Balaji's 'funniest film', Ekta described the film as, "Move over surprise parties..and make way for surprise shaadis." She even shared a video that worked as a promo of the film.
Directed by Prashant Singh, 'Jabariya Jodi' is co-presented by Balaji Telefilms and Karma Media Entertainment. Reportedly, the film was earlier titled 'Shotgun Shaadi'.
