Deepika Padukone-starrer film Padmaavat is finally releasing pan India after a long tumultuous journey. Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s period drama faced backlash in the hands of Rajput Karni Sena, who accused the filmmaker of distorting the historical facts. After being deferred from December 1, 2017 release, Padmaavat is finally hitting the screens on January 25th, 2018. Ahead of her big release, actress Deepika Padukone posted a picture with veteran filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali. She wrote a heartfelt caption for her Director with the picture.
In the caption, she wrote: My Main Man,Now & Forever!from both of us to all of you...We LOVE you!see you at the movies! #Padmaavat
Among the many comments, one was from Padmaavat’s baddie Alauddin Khilji aka Ranveer Singh. Commenting on the picture, he wrote, “Bless”
The picture has been more than 500,000 in a couple of hours.

Deepika Padukone also bagged India’s Most Stylish Actor (Female) Award at HT Most Stylish Awards 2018. Her Padmaavat co-star Shahid Kapoor also won India’s Most Stylish Actor (Male). Also, Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput were conferred with India’s Most Stylish Couple title at the ceremony.
On the other hand, Alauddin Khilji of Padmaavat aka Ranveer Singh wrote a heartfelt note for Sanjay Leela Bhansali after watching the movie in IMAX 3D on Wednesday. Here’s what he posted.
Padmaavat is a period drama based on the life and legend of Rani Padmini of Chittorgarh. Deepika Padukone played the role of Rani Padmini (Padmavati) in the film, while Shahid Kapoor essayed the role of Maha Rawal Ratan Sen. Ranveer Singh is getting praises on social media for his performance as Alauddin Khilji.
